Executive Operations of Khunik gold Processing Plant Starts

Ground-breaking ceremony of Khunik gold Processing Plant was held by attendance of Javad Ghanaat, South Khorasan Governor and Mohammadreza Movassaqinia, Chairman of the board of IMIDRO in South Khorasan Province.

According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, executive operations of Khunik gold processing plant with annual production capacity of 400 kg and investment of 1000 billion Iranian tomans started on Sunday in South Khorasan Province.

During the ceremony, Chairman of the board of IMIDRO stated that based on the signed contract the annual production capacity was 200kg which upgraded to 400kg due to investor’s planning.
He added: by operation of Khunik gold processing plant the gold production in South Khorasan Province (Hired gold mine and Khunik gold processing plant) increased to 800 kg per year.

Chairman of the board of IMIDRO announced: operation of this project plays an important role in region development and local employment.
Complete operation of Khunik gold processing plant will lead to direct employment of 400 persons, Movassaqinia declared.
